Lucky...

Lucky is the name of our cat, she earned her name in the way she came to be a member of our household. Lucky, should be my nickname...as I have a wonderful husband who is making a very colorful, delicious meal for us right now and all my lazy sick butt is doing is typing this blog...ok...well...I am about to set the table, but...I am lucky and thankful to be blessed with such a wonderful husband.

Riddle me this...

"Riddle me this Batman" how can they justifiably call the "common cold" common? Common to me is simple, plain, ordinary. The common cold is just simply one of the most miseralbe experiences. I am home sick from work for a second day, about to eat some left over wonderful homemade chicken soup that my husband made for us last night. I am so lucky to have him to take care of me, he is the best. Ok, I confess, I just looked up the definition of "common" and it does have numerous definitions, yet I still say it should not be used to descirbe a cold. Oh, and did I mention that my wonderful husband also bought me some delicious Ben & Jerry's- Half Baked ice cream...yummy! Well, off to nurse myself with delicious chicken soup.
