Should I be worried?

Since I have moved to Florida there have been many new encounters. Especially in experiences with nature.

From the large bugs, to Lenny the Lizard, to those white and wandering birds..."Cattle Egrets".

After moving down here, I remember seeing white birds in fields, often around livestock. I found out that they are commonly known as "cowbirds". They are actually kind of pretty, and to see many in flight is a beautiful sight. Ocala is "The Horse Capital of the World". We live on the outskirts of town, and, well, I think this is causing some confusion to the "Cattle Egret" [aka "cowbird"]. More and more, as we drive down the road, I have to yell out the window, "Hey, you silly cowbirds, that is a horse, not a cow!" The confusion they seem to be experiencing is starting to worry me......

You also get egrets in Europe in southern Spain where I go on holidays and used to live. There the cattle have long horns. Great site to see the egrets on their backs. We don't have egrets or cattle like that in northern Europe where I come from.
Interesting blog.

Thanks for the comment, hopefully someday my husband and I will be able to travel to Europe. I have always wanted to go to explore the United Kingdom. I have been to France, and a little of Germany, he has been to Italy, Spain, Austria and Germany. He is an artist, and has helped me a great deal with the blog. His blog is the "Harry's Beef Trust" link on my blog. It is a fun hobby that I am just getting into.

Take care!
